VizSeek is the customer-facing name of the technology, platform, and team created by Imaginestics, a U.S. technology company based in the Purdue University Research Park in West Lafayette, Indiana. While Imaginestics is the company behind the product, our customers know us as VizSeek, and that is the name we use when talking about our platform, services, and visual AI search technology.

The VizSeek team has spent years solving complex search, engineering, manufacturing, and AI challenges for industrial companies. Our background brings together expertise in software development, business, product design, engineering, mathematics, physics, international trade, manufacturing, machinery, 3D printing, and advanced visual search technology.

To our knowledge, our team was one of the earliest groups focused on visual search for industrial and engineering applications. Long before AI search became a common topic, we were building technology to help companies search by shape, image, drawing, and 3D model.

Being located in the Purdue University Research Park gives us access to one of the world's strongest engineering ecosystems. That environment has helped shape our focus on practical innovation, technical problem solving, and real-world industrial applications.

The company began by delivering custom technology solutions for clients with difficult engineering and manufacturing challenges. Over time, our visual search technology became one of the most valuable parts of that work. Clients were using it to solve problems in ways we had not originally expected, which led us to turn the technology into a product.

That product became VizSeek.

Today, customers across the globe use VizSeek to find parts, compare designs, support quoting workflows, improve reuse, and connect technical data across systems. These real-world use cases have helped shape additional applications, including AMAS for advanced manufacturing and 3D printing, and VizSeek SmartQ for manufacturers and distributors who need to respond to quote requests faster.

VizSeek continues to build on that foundation by combining visual AI, engineering-aware search, cross-file-type intelligence, and practical integration experience to help industrial teams find and reuse the data they already have.
